In Friday's non-league challenge, the host McQueen Lancers volleyball team scored a 2-0 win over the Oakdale Mustangs.
Next up, the Lancers face the Nevada Union Miners (Grass Valley, CA) in a non-league game, on Saturday, August 30. McQueen will attempt to advance on its 7-4 season record. The Miners go into the game with a 2-2 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Pleasant Valley (Chico, CA).
The Mustangs (1-5) will now prepare for their game against Sutter (Sutter, CA). The Huskies come into the non-league outing with a 4-3 record. In their last outing, Sutter beat Faith Christian (Yuba City, CA), 3-0, in a non-league outing.
