With the victory, Model moves its record to 4-2 on the year. The Patriots travel to Lee County (Beattyville, KY) to battle the Bobcats in a non-league contest on Tuesday, September 2. The Bobcats enter the contest with a record of 2-2.

Next, the Mountaineers battle the North Laurel Jaguars (London, KY) in a District 49 battle, on Tuesday, September 2. Oneida Baptist Institute will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Jaguars go into the battle with a 0-5 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Corbin (Corbin, KY).
