The Winslow Bulldogs volleyball squad (Winslow, AZ), was edged 1-0 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Window Rock Fighting Scouts (Fort Defiance, AZ)

With the win, Window Rock improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Fighting Scouts host Alchesay (Whiteriver, AZ) to meet the Falcons in a non-league contest on Tuesday, September 2. The Falcons enter the contest with a record of 0-0.

Next, the Bulldogs meet the Blue Ridge Yellow Jackets (Lakeside, AZ) in a 3A - East contest, on Tuesday, September 2. Winslow will attempt to move on its 6-1 season record. The Yellow Jackets enter the contest with a 0-1 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Florence (Florence, AZ).
