In Saturday's non-league outing, the visiting Harrison County Thorobreds soccer squad scored a tight 5-1 victory over the Mercer County Titans.

The Thorobreds (1-0) will now prepare for their outing against Pendleton County (Falmouth, KY). The Wildcats go into the District 38 outing with a 0-0 record.

Next up, the Titans confront the Nelson County Cardinals (Bardstown, KY) in a non-league outing, on Monday, August 12. Mercer County will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
