The DeSoto Central Jaguars volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Tupelo Golden Wave to 0 in the Jaguars non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Jaguars now have a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Alcorn Central for a non-league outing on Saturday, August 3.

With the loss, Tupelo drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Golden wave travel to Amory (Amory, MS) to play the Panthers in a non-league outing on Monday, August 5. The Panthers come into the outing with a record of 2-2. Amory lost 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Hancock (Kiln, MS)
