In Tuesday's non-league battle, the host Grace Christian Warriors volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Blue Ridge Christian Bears.
The Warriors (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against New Covenant (Lynchburg, VA). The Gryphons come into the non-league battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, New Covenant was edged by Timberlake Christian (Forest, VA), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Bears clash with the Timberlake Christian Tornadoes (Forest, VA) in a battle, on Tuesday, September 6. Blue Ridge Christian will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Tornadoes come into the battle with a 3-1 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Jefferson Forest (Forest, VA).
