The Hayesville Yellowjackets volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Murphy Bulldogs to 0 in the Yellowjackets non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Yellowjackets now have a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Swain County for a non-league game on Thursday, September 1.

The Bulldogs (2-2) will now prepare for their game against Robbinsville (Robbinsville, NC). The Black Knights enter the non-league game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Robbinsville gained a win over Cherokee (Cherokee, NC), 2-0, in a non-league game.
