Eastern Christian Eagles (North Haledon, NJ) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Bogota Buccaneers (Bogota, NJ), 9-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Eagles face the Midland Park Panthers (Midland Park, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 1. Eastern Christian will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record.

The Buccaneers now have a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Midland Park for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 9.
