Next, the Mustangs face the Kelloggsville Rockets (Wyoming, MI) in a Ottawa-Kent - Silver challenge, on Thursday, September 1. NorthPointe Christian will attempt to better on its 3-0 season record. The Rockets enter the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 6-2 league win over Hopkins (Hopkins, MI).

The Spartans now have a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Belding for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, August 31. Sparta will face a Black Knights team coming off a 6-0 league loss to Calvin Christian (Grandville, MI). The Black Knights record now stands at 0-3.
