Omaha Westside Warriors (Omaha, NE) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Bellevue West Thunderbirds (Bellevue, NE), 12-0 in a league challenge.

The Warriors now sport a 7-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Millard West for a A District challenge on Thursday, September 1. Omaha Westside will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 14-8 league win over Lincoln Southwest (Lincoln, NE). The Wildcats record now stands at 8-3.

With the loss, Bellevue West falls to 6-4 on the campaign. The Thunderbirds host Elkhorn South (Omaha, NE) to face the Storm in a A District challenge on Thursday, September 1. The Storm enter the challenge with a record of 7-3. Elkhorn South won 8-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Bennington (Bennington, NE)
