Missouri High School Softball - Seneca topped by Carthage

The Carthage Tigers softball team scored 14 runs and limited the visiting Seneca Indians to 6 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, Carthage moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Tigers travel to Joplin (Joplin, MO) to play the Eagles in a Class 4 District 12 game on Tuesday, September 6. The Eagles come into the game with a record of 5-0.
In their next game, the Indians play the Joplin Eagles (Joplin, MO) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, September 7. Seneca will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
