Greenbrier Wolfpack (Evans, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Statesboro Blue Devils (Statesboro, GA), 7-3 in a league challenge.

The Wolfpack now own a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jenkins for a 5A Region 1 challenge on Thursday, September 1. Greenbrier will battle a Warriors squad coming off a 11-3 league loss to Bradwell Institute (Hinesville, GA). The Warriors record now stands at 1-5.

With the loss, Statesboro falls to 5-3 on the campaign. The Blue devils host Ware County (Waycross, GA) to battle the Gators in a 5A Region 1 challenge on Thursday, September 1. The Gators enter the challenge with a record of 6-2. Ware County lost 11-0 in their recent league challenge against Coffee (Douglas, GA)
