Spectators at Tuesday's non-league match between the Wilcox County Patriots (Rochelle, GA) and the visiting Johnson County Trojans (Wrightsville, GA), witnessed Wilcox County's softball squad tip Johnson County by a count of 5-0.

The Patriots now sport a 11-0 record. They play next when they travel to Telfair County for a 1A D-II Region 4 match on Thursday, September 1. Wilcox County will face a Trojans squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Bacon County (Alma, GA). The Trojans record now stands at 3-4.

With the loss, Johnson County moves to 4-6 on the season. The Trojans host Swainsboro (Swainsboro, GA) to face the Tigers in a non-league match on Thursday, September 1. The Tigers go into the match with a record of 9-3. Swainsboro won 9-1 in their recent league match against Dublin (Dublin, GA)
