Sequoyah Chiefs (Canton, GA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Rome Wolves (Rome, GA), 21-0 in a league challenge.

The Chiefs now sport a 8-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pope for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, August 31.

With the loss, Rome falls to 0-12 on the campaign. The Wolves travel to Allatoona (Acworth, GA) to face the Buccaneers in a 6A Region 6 challenge on Thursday, September 1. The Buccaneers enter the challenge with a record of 8-3. Allatoona won 8-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Kell (Marietta, GA)
