Georgia High School Softball - Thomas County Central falls to Veterans

In Tuesday's league outing, the host Veterans Warhawks softball team scored a nice 11-3 win over the Thomas County Central Yellow Jackets.

Coming up next, the Warhawks encounter the Lee County Trojans (Leesburg, GA) in a 6A Region 1 outing, on Wednesday, August 31. Veterans will attempt to upgrade on its 6-1 season record. The Trojans enter the outing with a 5-5 record after their 14-0 league win over Northside (Warner Robins, GA).

The Yellow Jackets (4-6) will now prepare for their outing against Tift County (Tifton, GA). The Blue Devils enter the 6A Region 1 outing with a 4-6 record. In their last outing, Tift County was routed by Coffee (Douglas, GA), 3-2, in a non-league outing.
