The Airport Eagles volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Irmo Yellowjackets to 1 in the Eagles non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Eagles now have a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dreher for a non-league game on Thursday, September 1. Airport will confront a Blue Devils team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to West Florence (Florence, SC). The Blue Devils record now stands at 2-4.
The Yellowjackets (1-2) will now prepare for their game against Ben Lippen (Columbia, SC). The Falcons enter the non-league game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, Ben Lippen dropped by Northside Christian Academy (Lexington, SC), 3-1, in a non-league game.
