North Carolina High School Volleyball - Alleghany over South Stokes

August 30, 2022: Sparta, NC 28675

In Tuesday's league contest, the Alleghany Trojans (Sparta, NC) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting South Stokes Sauras (Walnut Cove, NC), by a margin of 3-1.

Next up, the Trojans face the North Wilkes Vikings (Hays, NC) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, September 1. Alleghany will attempt to better on its 5-2 season record. The Vikings go into the contest with a 5-2 record after their 3-0 league loss to East Surry (Pilot Mountain, NC).

With the loss, South Stokes moves to 0-4 on the year. The Sauras host Mount Airy (Mount Airy, NC) to face the Granite Bears in a Northwest 1A contest on Thursday, September 1. The Granite Bears go into the contest with a record of 2-3. Mount Airy won 3-2 in their recent league contest against East Wilkes (Ronda, NC)
