The Swain County Maroon Devils volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Andrews Wildcats to 0 in the Maroon Devils league victory on Tuesday.

The Maroon Devils now have a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hayesville for a Big Smoky Mountain 1A game on Thursday, September 1. Swain County will meet a Yellowjackets team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Murphy (Murphy, NC). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 5-2.

The Wildcats (1-3) will now prepare for their game against Cherokee (Cherokee, NC). The Braves enter the Big Smoky Mountain 1A game with a 2-4 record. In their last game, Cherokee dropped by Robbinsville (Robbinsville, NC), 3-1, in a league game.
