North Carolina High School Volleyball - Ashley Laney

August 30, 2022: Wilmington, NC 28405

The Laney Buccaneers topped the visiting Ashley Screaming Eagle volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Tuesday's league test.

The Buccaneers now have a 7-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Heide Trask for a non-league test on Wednesday, August 31. Laney will confront a Titans team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to North Brunswick (Leland, NC). The Titans record now stands at 0-7.

The Screaming Eagle (2-4) will now prepare for their test against Croatan (Newport, NC). The Cougars enter the non-league test with a 2-2 record. In their last test, Croatan gained a win over Ayden - Grifton (Ayden, NC), 3-0, in a non-league test.
