Ohio High School Volleyball - Champion routed by Garfield

The Garfield G-Men volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Champion Golden Flashes to 0 in the G-Men league victory on Tuesday.

The G-Men now have a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Liberty for a Mahoning Valley Athletic - Grey game on Thursday, September 1. Garfield will meet a Leopards team coming off a 3-2 league win over Newton Falls (Newton Falls, OH). The Leopards record now stands at 3-2.

The Golden Flashes (3-2) will now prepare for their game against Memorial (Campbell, OH). The Red Devils enter the Mahoning Valley Athletic - Grey game with a 3-3 record. In their last game, Memorial gained a win over McKinley (Sebring, OH), 3-0, in a non-league game.
