The Elkin Buckin' Elks topped the visiting North Stokes Vikings volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Tuesday's league test.

The Buckin' Elks now have a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Surry Central for a non-league test on Wednesday, August 31. Elkin will confront a Golden Eagles team coming off a 3-0 league win over West Wilkes (Millers Creek, NC). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 1-4.

The Vikings (4-3) will now prepare for their test against Starmount (Boonville, NC). The Rams enter the Northwest 1A test with a 3-2 record. In their last test, Starmount gained a win over Forbush (East Bend, NC), 3-0, in a non-league test.
