The Giles Spartans volleyball team (Pearisburg, VA), was nudged 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league challenge with the host Radford Bobcats (Radford, VA)
The Bobcats (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Cave Spring (Roanoke, VA). The Knights enter the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Cave Spring was nudged by Byrd (Vinton, VA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Spartans meet the Bland County Bears (Rocky Gap, VA) in a Mountain Empire challenge, on Thursday, September 1. Giles will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record.
