The Jefferson Democrats volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Manual Arts Toilers to 2 in the Democrats league victory on Tuesday.
The Democrats now have a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gardena for a non-league game on Wednesday, August 31.
The Toilers (0-2) will now prepare for their game against Santee (Los Angeles, CA). The Falcons enter the Exposition game with a 1-3 record. In their last game, Santee nipped Roybal (Los Angeles, CA), 3-0, in a non-league game.
