In Tuesday's league battle, the host Roy Royals volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Kearns Cougars.
The Royals (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against Granger (West Valley City, UT). The Lancers come into the 6A Region 2 battle with a 0-3 record.
Next, the Cougars encounter the American Fork Cavemen (American Fork, UT) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, September 1. Kearns will attempt to move on its 3-7 season record. The Cavemen come into the battle with a 3-2 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Lehi (Lehi, UT).
