Virginia High School Volleyball - Poquoson over Lafayette

The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Poquoson Islanders (Poquoson, VA) and the visiting Lafayette Rams (Williamsburg, VA), saw Poquoson's volleyball squad beat Lafayette by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Poquoson upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Islanders travel to Grafton (Yorktown, VA) to play the Clippers in a Bay Rivers bout on Thursday, September 1. The Clippers go into the bout with a record of 4-0. Grafton won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Jamestown (Williamsburg, VA)

The Rams now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Warhill for a Bay Rivers bout on Thursday, September 1. Lafayette will play a Lions squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Smithfield (Smithfield, VA). The Lions record now stands at 1-0.
