The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the West Point Pointers (West Point, VA) and the host Lancaster Red Devils (Lancaster, VA), saw West Point's volleyball squad nip Lancaster by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, West Point upgrades its record to 1-1 on the year. The Pointers travel to Colonial Beach (Colonial Beach, VA) to play the Drifters in a non-league bout on Thursday, September 1. The Drifters go into the bout with a record of 1-1.

The Red Devils now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Charles City for a non-league bout on Wednesday, August 31. Lancaster will play a Panthers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Northampton (Eastville, VA). The Panthers record now stands at 0-2.
