In Tuesday's league battle, the visiting Mesa Grande Academy Cardinals volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Lutheran Trojans.

The Cardinals (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Public Safety Academy (San Bernardino, CA). The Phoenix come into the Victory battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, Public Safety Academy was edged by River Springs Charter School Magnolia (Riverside, CA), 3-1, in a league battle.

Next, the Trojans clash with the Redlands Adventist Academy Bulldogs (Redlands, CA) in a Victory battle, on Tuesday, September 6. Lutheran will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a 4-3 record after their 3-0 league win over River Springs Charter School (Temecula, CA).
