The Sterling Golden Warriors volleyball team (Sterling, IL), went down 2-0 in Tuesday's non-league challenge with the visiting Lutheran Crusaders (Rockford, IL)

The Crusaders (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Richmond-Burton (Richmond, IL). The Rockets come into the non-league challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Richmond-Burton defeated Woodstock (Woodstock, IL), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Golden Warriors encounter the Moline Maroons (Moline, IL) in a Western Big 6 challenge, on Thursday, September 1. Sterling will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record. The Maroons come into the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Normal Community (Normal, IL).
