Utah High School Volleyball - San Juan tips Monticello

August 30, 2022: Blanding, UT 84511

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the San Juan Broncos (Blanding, UT) and the visiting Monticello Buckaroo (Monticello, UT), saw San Juan's volleyball squad nip Monticello by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, San Juan upgrades its record to 5-2 on the year. The Broncos host Parowan (Parowan, UT) to play the Rams in a 2A Region 19 bout on Thursday, September 1. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 4-0. Parowan won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Milford (Milford, UT)

The Buckaroo now own a 2-6 record. They play next when they host Green River for a 1A Region 23 bout on Thursday, September 1. Monticello will play a Pirates squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Pinnacle (Price, UT). The Pirates record now stands at 1-4.
