Ohio High School Volleyball - St. Mary Central Catholic can't hold off New Riegel

In Tuesday's league battle, the host New Riegel Blue Jackets volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the St. Mary Central Catholic Panthers.

The Blue Jackets (1-4) will now prepare for their battle against Danbury (Lakeside, OH). The Lakers come into the Sandusky Bay - River battle with a 4-2 record. In their last battle, Danbury nudged Lakota (Kansas, OH), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Panthers encounter the Old Fort Stockaders (Old Fort, OH) in a Sandusky Bay - River battle, on Thursday, September 1. St. Mary Central Catholic will attempt to move on its 2-4 season record. The Stockaders come into the battle with a 1-4 record after their 3-0 league loss to St. Joseph Central Catholic (Fremont, OH).
