In Tuesday's league contest, the Trumann Wildcats (Trumann, AR) volleyball squad edged the host Southside Southerners (Batesville, AR), by a margin of 3-2.

Next up, the Wildcats battle the Harrisburg Hornets (Harrisburg, AR) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, September 6. Trumann will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record.

With the loss, Southside drops to 2-1 on the campaign. The Southerners host Harding Academy (Searcy, AR) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league contest on Thursday, September 1. The Wildcats come into the contest with a record of 0-3.
