The Symmes Valley Vikings (Willow Wood, OH) volleyball nudged the visiting Western Indians (Latham, OH), 3-2 in Tuesday's league outing.

With the win, Symmes Valley upgrades its record to 1-1 on the year. The Vikings host Notre Dame (Portsmouth, OH) to face the Titans in a Southern Ohio I outing on Thursday, September 1. The Titans go into the outing with a record of 2-0. Notre Dame won 3-0 in their recent league outing against Clay (Portsmouth, OH)

The Indians now own a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to South Gallia for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 3.
