The Perquimans Pirates topped the host Holmes Aces volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Pirates now have a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bear Grass Charter for a non-league test on Friday, September 1. Perquimans will confront a Bears team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Northside - Pinetown (Pinetown, NC). The Bears record now stands at 6-1.
The Aces (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Manteo (Manteo, NC). The Redskins enter the non-league test with a 5-0 record. In their last test, Manteo gained a win over Cape Hatteras (Buxton, NC), 2-0, in a non-league test.
