The Lexington Yellowjackets volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host T.W. Andrews Red Raiders to 0 in the Yellowjackets non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Yellowjackets now have a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Davidson for a non-league game on Thursday, August 31. Lexington will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Eastern Randolph (Ramseur, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-3.
The Red Raiders (3-3) will now prepare for their game against Morehead (Eden, NC). The Panthers enter the non-league game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Morehead gained a win over Walkertown (Walkertown, NC), 2-0, in a non-league game.
