North Carolina High School Soccer - Piedmont Community Charter held off by Thomas Jefferson

The crowd at Wednesday's non-league test between the Thomas Jefferson Gryphons (Mooresboro, NC) and the visiting Piedmont Community Charter Patriots (Gastonia, NC), saw Thomas Jefferson's soccer squad get by Piedmont Community Charter by a margin of 2-1.

The Gryphons now sport a 3-0 record. They play next when they host Legion Collegiate Academy for a non-league test on Monday, September 11.

With the loss, Piedmont Community Charter drops to 2-1 on the season. The Patriots travel to West Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC) to play the Rebels in a non-league outing on Wednesday, September 6. The Rebels go into the outing with a record of 0-1.
