The Darlington Tigers softball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Armuchee Indians to 4 in the Tigers league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Darlington improves its record to 4-3 on the year. The Tigers travel to Trion (Trion, GA) to clash with the Bulldogs in a 1A D-I Region 7 game on Thursday, August 31. The Bulldogs come into the game with a record of 3-3. Trion lost 3-2 in their recent league game against Dade County (Trenton, GA)

In their next game, the Indians clash with the Mt. Zion Eagles (Mt. Zion, GA) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, September 5. Armuchee will attempt to improve on its 4-7 season record. The Eagles come into the game with a 0-10 record after their 13-5 non-league loss to Callaway (Hogansville, GA).
