In Wednesday's league battle, the host Pinole Valley Spartans volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Richmond Oilers.
The Spartans (4-3) will now prepare for their battle against Kennedy (Richmond, CA). The Eagles come into the Tri-County battle with a 2-1 record.
Next, the Oilers clash with the Pleasant Hill Adventist Academy Cougars (Pleasant Hill, CA) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, August 31. Richmond will attempt to advance on its 2-4 season record.
