The Scappoose Indians topped the host St. Helens Lions volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Wednesday's league test.

The Indians now have a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Seaside for a 4A Cowapa test on Tuesday, September 5. Scappoose will confront a Seagulls squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Banks (Banks, OR). The Seagulls record now stands at 1-1.

With the loss, St. Helens moves to 2-2 on the year. The Lions travel to Tillamook (Tillamook, OR) to battle the Cheesemakers in a 4A Cowapa contest on Tuesday, September 5. The Cheesemakers go into the contest with a record of 1-0. Tillamook won 3-0 in their recent league contest against Astoria (Astoria, OR)
