Red River Roughriders (Grand Forks, ND) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting St. Mary's Central Saints (Bismarck, ND), 41-7 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Red River improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Roughriders travel to Watford City (Watford City, ND) to play the Wolves in a non-league battle on Friday, September 13. The Wolves go into the battle with a record of 1-1. Watford City lost 26-6 in their recent non-league battle against Devils Lake (Devils Lake, ND)
