Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the Iroquois West Raiders (Gilman, IL) and the visiting St. Anne Cardinals (St. Anne, IL), saw Iroquois West's soccer squad triumph over St. Anne by a count of 11-6.

The Raiders (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against St. Joseph-Ogden (St. Joseph, IL). The Spartans enter the non-league battle with a 1-2 record. In their last battle, St. Joseph-Ogden was overwhelmed by Urbana University (Urbana, IL), 5-2, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Cardinals battle the Beecher Bobcats (Beecher, IL) in a River Valley battle, on Tuesday, September 3. St. Anne will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Bobcats enter the battle with a 1-1 record after their 4-0 non-league loss to Bradley-Bourbonnais (Bradley, IL).
