The Mt. Morris Panthers volleyball squad (Mt. Morris, MI), was edged 1-0 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Bronson Vikings (Bronson, MI)

With the win, Bronson improves its record to 5-4 on the season. The Vikings host Jonesville (Jonesville, MI) to encounter the Comets in a non-league battle on Saturday, September 7. The Comets go into the battle with a record of 3-4.

The Panthers now own a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ovid-Elsie for a Mid-Michigan Athletic battle on Thursday, September 5. Mt. Morris will encounter a Marauders squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Goodrich (Goodrich, MI). The Marauders record now stands at 1-2.
