Texas High School Volleyball - Vandegrift tips Clark

Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Vandegrift Vipers (Austin, TX) and the visiting Clark Cougars (San Antonio, TX), observed Vandegrift's volleyball team hold off Clark by a tally of 2-1.

The Vipers (14-13) will now prepare for their contest against Canyon (New Braunfels, TX). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 17-7 record. In their last contest, Canyon was tipped by Mount St. Mary (Oklahoma City, OK), 2-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Cougars meet the Georgetown Eagles (Georgetown, TX) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, August 31. Clark will attempt to upgrade on its 11-13 season record. The Eagles enter the contest with a 21-3 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Prestonwood Christian (Plano, TX).
