In Friday's league challenge, the visiting Pyramid Lake Lakers volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Sage Ridge Scorpions.
The Lakers (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against McDermitt (McDermitt, NV). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.
Next, the Scorpions play the Smith Valley Bulldogs (Smith, NV) in a 1A Western challenge, on Friday, September 6. Sage Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 7-10 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Hilmar (Hilmar, CA).
