California High School Flag Football - Mission Hills nips Carlsbad

The crowd at Saturday's non-league contest between the Mission Hills Grizzlies (San Marcos, CA) and the host Carlsbad Lancers (Carlsbad, CA), witnessed Mission Hills's flag football squad edge Carlsbad by a tally of 26-20.

The Grizzlies (7-1) will now prepare for their contest against Sage Creek (Carlsbad, CA). The Bobcats enter the non-league contest with a 0-5 record. In their last contest, Sage Creek was nudged by Oceanside (Oceanside, CA), 38-6, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Lancers battle the Classical Academy Caimans (Escondido, CA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, September 4. Carlsbad will attempt to advance on its 9-2 season record. The Caimans go into the bout with a 7-4 record after their 33-12 non-league win over Academy of Our Lady of Peace (San Diego, CA).
