California High School Flag Football - Grossmont beat Otay Ranch

The Grossmont Foothillers flag football squad scored 24 points and limited the host Otay Ranch Mustangs to 6 in the Foothillers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Foothillers now sport a 9-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Westview for a non-league test on Saturday, August 30. Grossmont will meet a Wolverines squad coming off a 19-6 non-league win over Granite Hills (El Cajon, CA). The Wolverines record now stands at 2-0.

With the defeat, Otay Ranch drops to 1-3 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Hilltop (Chula Vista, CA) to meet the Lancers in a non-league test on Wednesday, September 3. The Lancers come into the test with a record of 1-2. Hilltop lost 25-18 in their recent non-league challenge against Clairemont (San Diego, CA)
