Lathrop Malemutes (Fairbanks, AK) fans went home in high spirits Saturday as they saw their flag football team achieve victory over the host Palmer Moose (Palmer, AK), 24-14 in a league battle.

With the win, Lathrop improves its record to 4-5 on the season. The Malemutes travel to West Valley (Fairbanks, AK) to play the Wolf Pack in a Railbelt battle on Saturday, September 6. The Wolf Pack go into the battle with a record of 2-3. West Valley lost 54-6 in their recent league battle against North Pole (North Pole, AK)

The Moose now have a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Colony for a Railbelt test on Tuesday, September 2. Palmer will meet a Knights squad coming off a 19-6 league win over Lathrop (Fairbanks, AK). The Knights record now stands at 4-1.
