The Legacy Lightning felled the visiting Thornton Trojans flag football team by a score of 19-6 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Lightning play the Denver East Angels (Denver, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 30. Legacy will attempt to improve on its 3-0 season record. The Angels go into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 42-6 non-league loss to Legend (Parker, CO).
The Trojans (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Smoky Hill (Aurora, CO). The Buffaloes go into the non-league challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last challenge, Smoky Hill lost by Rangeview (Aurora, CO), 40-6, in a non-league challenge.
