The Santa Margarita Eagles flag football squad scored 20 points and limited the visiting Woodbridge Warriors to 14 in the Eagles non-league win on Saturday.
In their next game, the Eagles play the San Juan Hills Stallions (San Juan Capistrano, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 30. Santa Margarita will attempt to improve on its 9-0 season record. The Stallions go into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 27-0 non-league loss to JSerra Catholic (San Juan Capistrano, CA).
The Warriors (7-5) will now prepare for their challenge against San Clemente (San Clemente, CA). The Tritons go into the non-league challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, San Clemente was edged by Edison (Huntington Beach, CA), 19-13, in a non-league challenge.
