In Saturday's non-league outing, the host Highland Park Giants soccer team scored a close 1-0 triumph over the Deerfield Warriors.
With the triumph, Highland Park advances its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Giants host Antioch (Antioch, IL) to clash with the Sequoits in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 2. The Sequoits come into the test with a record of 1-0. Antioch won 4-0 in their recent non-league test against Wilmot (Wilmot, WI)
The Warriors now have a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Grayslake North for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 2. Deerfield will play a Knights squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Harvard (Harvard, IL). The Knights record now stands at 2-1.
