The Lafayette County Huskers softball team scored 22 runs and held the host Knob Noster Panthers to 8 in the Huskers non-league win on Saturday.

The Huskers now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Warrensburg for a non-league battle on Saturday, August 30.

With the loss, Knob Noster moves to 0-2 on the season. The Panthers host Smith-Cotton (Sedalia, MO) to confront the Tigers in a non-league battle on Wednesday, September 3. The Tigers come into the battle with a record of 0-0.
